Panoramic Art Prints from my Travels
I try to travel as much as possible, and as an academic I do get quite a lot of spare time. In the last few years I've seen many different countries, though I've only recently started taking panoramic pictures while I'm away. Usually I do portraits, streetshots, the weird and the wonderful. Landscape photography takes preparation and time, so it's only on serendipitous moments that you can really capture something great while moving through a town a day, a state a week. These pictures capture some of those moments, from Russia, Bangladesh, Japan, Qatar, India and Canada (that's just in the last year!!). My favourite has to be the Dhaka shot: the Buriganga was just incredible, I've never seen so much life on a river, and I think there must be thousands of people captured in that picture, going about their lives (and watching others do the same—check out the balconies). I'll be adding pictures from Korea this year as well, so please keep checking back.
