Panoramic Morocco: the South-East

I struggle to think of anywhere as naturally beautiful as the South-East of Morocco. I have travelled some valleys in my time—up the Karakoram highway in Pakistan; into the Indian Himalayas; through the western mountains of China—and the Dades valley is right up there with the most beautiful. Of course, there is perhaps too much development in the first few miles, but even the slightly garish hotels cannot diminish a simply breathtaking natural landscape. Look at the rock formations in 'Red and Green' above, they are simply unworldly. I also had the chance, in Morocco, to spend some time photographing Skoura, a palmery on the way to the Gorge. The collapsed mud buildings (old houses) made a beautiful setting for a gorgeous sunrise. These photos should be the perfect gift for anybody who's ever fallen in love with the deserts and gorges of Morocco.
